Millions of couples start businesses together in the U.S. A study from the National Federation of Independent Businesses estimated there are 1.2 million husband and wife teams operating their own companies. The study was conducted over a decade ago
and the organization says that number is much larger now. Although starting a company together was not exactly part of our master plan, we feel so blessed to be included in that ever growing statistic.

Our story began during the renovation of our first home. Wife wanted a barn door, husband enjoyed building the barn door and Walston Door Company was born. We are eager to transform homes into anything but ordinary with our handmade doors local to Kansas City. We aspire for a custom detailed feel and cannot wait to share our doors with you and your family.
